Prize Giving

Welcome to the inaugural Digital Daze Digi Awards!
A huge thanks to the Manawatu ICT cluster and Lynn Ross for their guidance, mentoring and for allowing us to borrow all their hard work to get us started!
This year the competition will be open to our 7 cluster schools in the following categories:

Within each category students can submit work in the following age bands:
  • Year 1-2
  • Year 3-4
  • Year 5-6
  • Year 7-8

Schools may enter their top 10 finished products in each category for each age level. We suggest holding a school based competition to select your final entries.

Submission:

Entries must be delivered to T.I.S by Friday July 20th at 4pm.
Entries must be stored on a USB stick - a separate stick for each category.
If a school has multiple entries on one USB stick (in the same category) these must be well sorted using folders for each age band and clear file names including the child's full name, year level, school and category.
Accepted file formats for photography:
.jpg, .png

Accepted file formats for graphic design:
.pdf, .jpg, .png

Accepted file formats for animation:
.mov, .avi, .mp4, .mpeg, .wmv

(Please note: power point animations can be converted to the above file formats to run as a video through the 'save and send' menu option. Simply select 'create a video' and follow the steps.)

Awards ceremony to be held on Friday 17th August at Taradale Intermediate. Time to be advised.
